I thought you MIGHT have been able to take five or six good shots due to the fact that she would NOT sit still, nor would she quit waving & yelling bye to EVERY car that went by! Between dodging the "Homeless Streaker" & CHASING after my Angel in the unbearable heat you managed to capture beautiful images that will last a lifetime! My experience with Steve Figueroa Photography was exceptional! I met with him on a hot Florida day with my infant daughter(Emma) to try and get some portraits. Anyone with a baby knows how unpredictable they can be, and on this day Emma was not her usual happy-go-lucky self. Steve found a gorgeous park location to shoot but Emma absolutely hated the grass, she wanted nothing to do with it. She would only stop crying if I sat down in the grass with her and held her. I was not dressed for photos so I thought there was no way this kid was going to cooperate long enough for any decent photos to come to light. I couldn't have been more wrong!! Despite Emma's meltdowns and insecurities about leaving my side, Steve managed to capture absolutely breathtaking images of my daughter. If he can turn a cranky baby's meltdown into pure art, he can do no wrong in my book! I hope to have him take more photos of Emma as she is older and more cooperative in front of a camera.

Shooting with Steve is definitely an experience and an adventure. You never know what will happen on this shoot…. He will do anything and everything he can to make you feel comfortable or to get the look he is needing for a particular shot. He is easy to work with it, and open to ideas. His photo shoots almost don't even feel like photo shoots, it can seem as if your just two friends hanging out but oh wait there a camera in your face! I have done two shoots with him that I won't do with anyone else, simply because he makes me feel comfortable, confident and secure in my own skin….or it could be because he feeds me during the shoots.
